I can’t front, this isn’t exactly my lane, but Jamie Foxx and “The Boss” made a hot song. Complete with a Biggie sample and an ’80s style drum-clap, producer Bink! delivered quite a beat for Officer Ricky and his Ray Charles impersonating friend to go in on. Vocalists and engineers take note: Jamie doesn’t need Auto-Tune, but he used it correctly to the point where it’s barely audible. Ross’ verse was fresh, but I don’t get why he referenced Christian Louboutin as fly sneakers – they’re women’s shoes…you trying to tell us something, Boss? This is officially the best thing Jamie Foxx has done since Booty Call.
